Reformatory School Girls

Sydney's Cockatoo Island has a long and illustrious history dating back to the time of first European settlement.

Between 1870-1880, the island was used as an industrial and reformatory school for girls.

On a recent trip to the Island, I took a midnight walk and captured a few eerie images of my own.
